Inclusion

Our school maintains links with other local primary schools to plan and carefully support inclusion opportunities, according to individual pupil’s needs.

Inclusion into local primary schools can be on a subject by subject basis, based on the child’s interests and strengths; inclusion can also be to support the social and emotional development. In some cases, inclusion will be sought in order to support the gradual integration of a pupil into a mainstream setting.  All Children attending inclusion sessions are supported by familiar member of school staff.

We also support mainstream children from our linked school with inclusion opportunities within our setting, attending curriculum lessons or enrichment activities such as forest school.
