Focus Hubs

At Lisburne, we recognise the importance of celebrating every milestone, not just the academic, meaning we focus on whole child. Our Focus Hubs are integrated to support a child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being simultaneously. This approach centres on four core pillars: Communication, building the foundation for social connection; Behaviour, which fosters resilience and self-regulation; OT and Physical Development, ensuring students are comfortable and capable in their bodies; and Food Hub, which supports children with their dietary requirements making sure their basic needs are being met. By weaving these threads together, the school creates a nurturing environment where functional skills and personal independence are valued just as highly as literacy or numeracy.
