Behaviour Hub

'What is this child trying to communicate, and how can we support them further?'

What is the Behaviour Hub?

Our Behaviour Hub is rooted in the belief that all behaviour is a form of communication. At Lisburne, our vision is for every child and every member of staff to feel supported, confident and equipped when responding to all levels of behaviour.

Why is the Behaviour Hub important for Lisburne School?

We strive for consistency across the school, ensuring children feel safe and secure through familiar, predictable approaches. At the same time, we recognise the individuality of every pupil, and our responses are always personalised to meet each child’s unique needs.

Staff follow carefully developed support plans that guide our practice during moments of dysregulation or heightened need. These plans are regularly shared with parents, carers and the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring a collaborative and informed approach to each child’s wellbeing.

Through the Behaviour Hub, we aim to nurture emotional understanding, strengthen relationships and create a supportive environment where all children can thrive.
